Margaret Warner
Chief Foreign Correspondent
Warner is a Yale University graduate, and got her start in print journalism. In 1988, she was a panelist on one of the two election debates. Before coming to PBS NewsHour, she reported for The Concord Monitor, The San Diego Union, and The Wall Street Journal. She finally started at PBS NewsHour in 1993.
As one of the five senior correspondents, Margaret Warner is also the lead respondent for the Overseas Reporting Unit. Because of this, she has been able to visit Afghanistan, Britain, China, France, Germany, Iran, Kenya, Pakistan, and Russia over the past two years. In 2008, she earned the Edward Weintal Prize for International Reporting for her overseas reporting, and also won an Emmy Award for her coverage in Pakistan that year.

Jeffery Brown
Chief Correspondent for Arts, Culture, and Society
Brown is a UC Berkeley, UC Berkeley School of Law, and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism graduate. He helped produce multiple shows for Media and Society Seminars.
He currently is an arts correspondent, and has been interviewing many important figures, such as leading writers, musicians, and other artists. He currently is the host and of his original “Art Beat,” a cultural and arts online blog. He served as senior producer for national affairs for over ten years, and through that expanded the coverage of the program to arts, culture, economy, health care, and social policy. Through his years of work, he has gained multiple awards and honors such as an Emmy and Cine Golden Eagle Awards, among others.
